Best. Competition. Ever.
Our Midwest regional was an absolute success! We placed 16th out of 47 teams in the Midwest area. This is the best our team has done in any competition in our team's history. Congratulations to all the new members who put in the hard work to get this far.
And a special goodbye to all of our seniors this year. You all worked against the impossible to bring us to our best performing season ever! We will miss you!!!
Everybot V2 is all set!
Within a week and a half, we radically changed our robot. It is now better equipped to handle its intended tasks. Off to the midwest regional at University of Illinois Chicago!
Everybot V2 Climbers
The original Everybot climbers, while cool in theory, did not work AT ALL for us. We could never get the robot to stay securely on the bar at the end of each match. Thankfully, Team 1781 Lindblom Electric Eagles machined and donated some "climber in the box" 's to us (Thanks!!!). These climbers should be way more consistent and easy to use versus the original climber. We can't wait to use them!

Everybot V2 Intake
Our new, custom intake is complete! The original Everybot intake was very inconsistent, as getting balls into the low hub was usually a hit or miss. Our new intake design will improve our accuracy by a lot! Congratulations to everyone who worked on it! We are all super proud!!!!!
Everybot V2!!
After the Wisconsin competition, our team decided to take a different path. Now with all of our members trained and well-versed in FRC, we decided to push our limits and come up with our own, unique modifications to original 2022 everybot. Introducing....
Our robot at the competition!!! The first competition for many of our members!
The robot is ready to roll!! Take a look at this youtube short: youtube.com/shorts/vqpFTBbJBoU?feature=share
Just needs some finishing touches, and then off to programming to get the robot moving!
Parts for the Everybot are coming along nicely! Take a look at the picture below!
Change in plans...
Our team's original plan for this season was to build two robots at once. One was going to be the Everybot, a robot created by team 118 meant for other teams to take inspiration from. We were building this robot in order to give all of the new members the skills and experience they need. The other robot was going to be a high hoop shooter robot that we would've designed ourselves, and the one we would've ended up bringing to the competition. However, we found that doing both of these at once was really time consuming, and that we would not have been finished by the time we went to our first competition, so we decided to change plans.
Instead, we will complete the Everybot first, in order to teach skills to the new guys, and then we will design and complete our own robot for the second competition that we compete in, if we have the time to do so.

Programming and electrical are doing some amazing work with just a camera and a bare bones chassis (for now ;D ). Check it out below!
Our shooting prototype has had great success so far. We are so close to the required 8' 8'' (height of the high hoop). Check it out in the video: youtube.com/shorts/K9EYL8MiMqg?feature=share
